Even with the 10 year age difference my kids have a very close relationship. DD enjoys being the first to teach him something or show him something new. When I first found out I was pregnant I worried about her being jealious of the attention a new baby would take or getting upset when we couldn't just pick up and leave on a whim. As you can see that has not been the case. I think this is my all time favorite picture of the two of them together....well so far anyway!!!

Journaling reads:

When you were born I worried about the 10 year age difference. I worried you would both feel more like only children instead of siblings. But over the past 2 years I have watched your relationship grow. Ali loves teaching you new things and enjoys having you around. When I took this picture Ali had just graduated from the 5th grade and was showing you around the school that in just a few short years you will be attending. I took it because I was enjoying the two of you enjoying each other. But when I came home and loaded the day's pictures on to my computer I couldn't take my eeyes off of this picture. In my mind I could see you both taking another step and in it both of you are a few years older. In the following step you are almost grown. It is in this moment that I realize that even when I am gone neither of you will be alone in this world.

Such a sweet photo of your 2 blessings! I like how you kept them in color and the rest in black and white! A neat frame too!

Great journaling! Such a special photo!

TFS!

This is fabulous journaling you will be able to treasure forever! I love the color isolation and the use of the frame, as well as the shot from behind. The Kudos Team

Great layout! I love how you focused on just the two important things, the journaling and the photo! And the grungy frame around the photo is just the touch it needs especially at the angle you titled it. Absolutely great... and don't worry, there are ten years between my sister and I, 9 between my brother, as the years go by the difference slips away until it's unnoticeable. They will enjoy one another at all stages of their life!
